Having upload issues?
Uploading files can be tricky, but we try our best to make sure its a smooth process for you.
Be sure to check the upload queue to track the status of any uploads. Any errors will show below the files themselves, and a timestamp that last error occurred at. Files should automatically retry after a short delay.
Be sure to check our troubleshooting steps below:
- Your cell phone signal strength is important if uploading over data. A poor connection can result in uploads continuing to fail. Try find a wifi or stronger signal location.
- Ensure you aren't using any "Data-saver" system mode in Android or iOS
- Battery level is also important. Background uploads may not begin to protect your battery.
- When using background uploading on iOS, you may see a delay in the upload starting. This is because iOS controls when the files upload and may wait for stronger connections.
- Ensure any battery saving modes are turned off.
- For Android you may need to go to Android Settings, find the App, and ensure the "Battery" is set to "Unrestricted"
- Never "Swipe" to close the app from the App Switcher. This can cause uploads to never run.
- Try turning off Background uploading in the settings. Revisit the upload status page, and you should see each item have the error code "110" and begin 1-by-1 to upload. That will start uploading even on poor connections. It will require you keep your screen on, the app open while uploads progress. Having the screen go off, or switching apps could pause "foreground" uploads.
